Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required; holidays scheduled as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity, 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Float as needed to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC)
• Utilize electronic medical records and surgical count systems including EPIC, Triton, and SurgiCount
• Adhere to compliance requirements including completion of a mandatory EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed)
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Experience with high-acuity obstetric patient populations
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
