Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–7
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and holiday scheduling as required
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet census and staffing demands
• Contribute to emergency response efforts as assigned, including potential hurricane season emergency response team assignments (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time-off requests after submission will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity Medical Surgical patient populations
