Key Responsibilities

• Float within a Critical Care Float Pool, providing night-shift nursing coverage across multiple ICU settings based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• Deliver high-acuity patient care across units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity in accordance with facility float policy
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management as part of routine critical care responsibilities
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications — required
• Proficiency with EPIC — required
• Demonstrated skills in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU specialties or high-acuity environments
