Key Responsibilities
- Performs MRI and CT procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accurate image acquisition and patient safety
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work
- Practices radiation safety in adherence to ALARA standards
- Maintains accurate patient records in the EHR, including procedure and supply charging
- Troubleshoots equipment issues and coordinates with service engineers for external maintenance as needed
- Assists with cross-training of imaging staff, clerical duties, patient transportation, and supply inventory management as directed
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R), including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience
- Cross-training in additional modalities such as DEXA and Mammography
- Experience with electronic health records including PACS and RIS/HIS systems
