Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate across a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, robotics, transplant, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT (primarily head and neck), GYN, and urology
- Provide intraoperative nursing care for patients undergoing complex procedures in a Level I Trauma OR environment consisting of 10 operating rooms
- Support surgical teams during bariatric, major plastic reconstruction, and robotic surgery cases
- Participate in kidney and liver transplant procedures as well as organ procurement cases
- Adhere to all facility compliance, orientation, and scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage as eligible during the contract period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Required experience: kidney transplant, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic trauma, and robotics
- Demonstrated experience in both scrub and circulator roles
- Transplant, trauma, and neuro experience required
- Flu vaccination required prior to acceptance
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ENT (head and neck), GYN, and urology surgical settings
- Background in bariatric or major plastic reconstruction procedures
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma OR environments and high-acuity inpatient surgical care
