Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and wound care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or related setting
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and central lines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Wound care experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Telemetry experience in a long-term acute care environment
