Physical Therapist – Contract (13 Weeks)
Location
El Paso, TX | Acute Rehab
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Manage a caseload of approximately 5–6 patient care hours in rehab, up to 12–15 patients in acute care, and 6–7 patients in outpatient settings as volume dictates
- Participate in team conferences, family training sessions, and home assessments
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, PTs, and PTAs
- Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
- Adhere to facility dress code standards, including navy scrubs and CDC guidelines for N95 mask wearers
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas State License in Physical Therapy
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
- No call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred given the patient population served
- Energetic, adaptable personality well-suited to a dynamic team environment with varied patient and physician interactions
