Medical Lab Scientist – Laboratory

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), Monday – Friday | Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing with a focus on Hematology and Chemistry
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation in accordance with established protocols
- Float to like units as operationally needed
- Participate in orientation during the first week of assignment (Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Adhere to all facility policies, including nicotine-free workplace requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active MLS or MLT certification from ASCP or AMT required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist with Hematology and strong Chemistry experience
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Beckman automation line instrumentation
- Familiarity with AU 5800, AU 680, DxH 900, DxH 800, DxI 800, Cobas e801, TOP720, ABL 825 FLEX, Iris Velocity, and/or Iris iQ200 analyzers
