Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Monitor and manage critically ill pediatric patients, including those with complex cardiovascular conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Work weekends and eligible holidays as required per unit scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVPICU or Pediatric ICU experience required; first-time travelers must have 3+ years of recent experience
• Pediatrics experience required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment (exceptions considered for candidates with 3+ years of recent relevant experience)
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (strictly enforced)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred (required for this position)
• 3+ years of recent CVPICU or Pediatric critical care experience
• EPIC EMR experience
