Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit operating under a team nursing model, collaborating with PCCs, LPNs, and other support staff
• Manage a patient assignment within an expected 1:7 ratio with team-based support
• Respond to on-call needs and weekend assignments as required by the unit
• Apply clinical skills consistent with Level I or Level II Trauma experience in a large, high-acuity hospital environment
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally needed
• Adhere to all facility compliance, holiday coverage, and scheduling requirements as outlined at time of offer

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — this radius rule is strictly enforced
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be considered after an offer has been presented

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Large hospital experience strongly preferred
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• BSN preferred for certain unit designations; ADN accepted for this position
