Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit utilizing a team nursing model, with an effective working ratio of approximately 1:6–7 patients
• Collaborate with LPNs and medication nurses to split and manage the patient caseload effectively
• Apply clinical expertise in a high-acuity, large hospital environment, including care of Level I Trauma patients
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Maintain compliance with all active RN licensure requirements, including NLC compact license guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (strictly enforced)
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
