Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting within a large acute care hospital
- Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular and vascular procedures, including open-heart surgeries
- Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgery program
- Familiarity with advanced cardiac surgical procedures and related instrumentation
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or perioperative setting
