Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in the Neonatal/Pediatric ICU using Servo-U and Dräger VN500 ventilators
- Set up and manage heliox therapy through both invasive and non-invasive measures
- Provide non-invasive ventilation support including BiPAP and CPAP, as well as Bubble CPAP and Vaportherm for neonatal patients
- Operate and monitor high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) equipment
- Administer nitric oxide therapy and support neonatal critical care as needed
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- PALS certification required
- Minimum 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
- Proficiency with Servo-U ventilator, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy
- Familiarity with Epic documentation system preferred prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of neonatal or pediatric critical care respiratory therapy experience
- Experience with nitric oxide administration in a neonatal setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-modality ventilation strategies independently
