Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: August 17, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Perform unit-level procedures including EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
- Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech electronic health record system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a clinical nurse coordinator, PCTs, and a unit coordinator each shift
- Adhere to floating policy — contract staff are first to float to like units as needed
- Maintain patient experience standards consistent with a 1+ year experienced Med/Surg RN
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical RN experience
- Proficiency with standard medical/surgical equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- Familiarity with high-volume acute care hospital environments
- Strong patient experience focus in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting
