MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures using a GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring safe and thorough patient care throughout each scan
• Operate independently during night shift coverage with minimal supervision
• Document and manage patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Adhere to all MRI safety protocols; this unit does not utilize X-ray
• Wear all-black scrubs in accordance with department dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Must be a travel candidate; local candidates should verify eligibility prior to applying
• Ability to work independently, including nights and weekends
• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience with GE MRI equipment, particularly 1.5T systems
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
