Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice
• Float to all hospital departments as needed to meet facility needs, including Labor and Delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in high-acuity patient settings
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• During hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT not accepted
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be active and in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications — all must be in hand at time of start
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; recent critical care experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience floating across multiple hospital departments and acuity levels
• Familiarity with Labor and Delivery respiratory care protocols
