Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients with injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases
• Provide education and information to patients and caregivers to support recovery and self-management
• Participate in required discharge planning and complete all required documentation according to policy
• Direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance functional performance
• Conduct approximately 6–7 weighted visits per day in a home health setting
• Provide weekend coverage for orthopedic cases on a rotating basis (approximately every 4th or 5th weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Physical Therapist State License required (VA or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal — no exceptions)
• CPR certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No prior license or background hits will be considered — any history will eliminate a candidate from consideration
• Fit test must be current and without history of fit test issues; PAPR cannot be accommodated
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (allied positions only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Home Health physical therapy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with MatrixCare or Epic EMR systems preferred, though not required
