Contract | Nights (with occasional day coverage) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum units during night shifts
- Participate in call shifts as scheduled — expected 6–8 call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients throughout all stages of labor and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support maternal and neonatal outcomes
- Provide occasional day shift coverage as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana RN license or a qualifying compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/OB nursing required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a community or critical access hospital setting
- Comfort with rotating call responsibilities and variable scheduling
- Ability to adapt to both night and occasional day shift coverage
