Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surgical technologist duties within the Operating Room, supporting a variety of surgical procedures
- Float to all ORs within the facility as needed
- Participate in on-call coverage — up to 6 on-call shifts per 13-week contract period
- Fulfill holiday obligations when holidays fall on scheduled workdays
- Support Level I Trauma cases and assist with orthopedic surgical procedures
Required Qualifications
- NBSTSA CST certification required, OR a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in lieu of certification or degree
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CST, or 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Strong orthopedic surgical experience required
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including general, trauma, GYN, urology, plastics, neuro spine, and ex-lap cases
- Experience with DaVinci robotic-assisted surgery
- Experience with large head and neck cases
