Contract | Rotating Shifts | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
- Monitor and assess the respiratory status of neonatal patients
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and respiratory support equipment for neonatal patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility to practice in North Dakota
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Prior experience in a NICU or neonatal respiratory care setting
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neonatal mechanical ventilation and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
- Familiarity with neonatal resuscitation protocols
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced intensive care environment
