Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:30–07:00 | Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging across a range of body regions including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal areas
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment; document and communicate using EPIC
• Float between assigned locations as scheduled — Thursday and Friday at an ortho campus and Saturday at the main hospital
• Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients is preferred
• Participate as assigned in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team response; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Active ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• NC state license or Compact license (pending status acceptable for submission)
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply; a lower rate applies for local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest MRI imaging
• Proficiency in image post-processing
• Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
