Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No call, no weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fetal echocardiograms using 2D optimization and 3D manipulation techniques; obtain and review pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results
- Provide interpreting physicians with oral summaries of diagnostic findings; analyze data, prepare preliminary written reports, and review results with reading faculty for final interpretation
- Differentiate artifacts from normal or pathological processes and recognize limitations of the exam to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with fetal radiologists, MFM physicians, and surgical teams to provide diagnostic imaging and guidance during fetal surgical procedures; assist with procedures in both clinical and operating room settings as needed
- Support team members through knowledge sharing and technical assistance; assist with teaching fellows, visitors, and new departmental staff
- May participate in clinical research related to prenatal cardiovascular disease, including measuring and analyzing echocardiographic data, preparing scientific reports, and presenting findings at relevant forums
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field
- ARDMS certification in Fetal Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) required at time of submission
- ARDMS Pediatric (PE) certification required
- Valid single-state Ohio or multi-state ARDMS license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specific specialty
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local; local rates will apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in pediatric echocardiography
- Hands-on fetal echo experience, including experience on Samsung Hera W10 fetal cardiac systems
- Epic EMR experience preferred
