Kansas City, KS | Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (days determined by staffing needs); late team rotation shared with other staff; no weekend, holiday, floating, or on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nurse-guided moderate sedation and administration of IV medications in the EP Lab setting
- Monitor electrical and hemodynamic parameters and assist in collection of venous and arterial blood samples
- Circulate for all ablation procedures, including RF and PFA techniques
- Assist with laser lead extractions, left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO), and all device implantations
- Operate and support procedures utilizing Carto, Ensite X, Affera, and Opal mapping systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- One of the following certifications required: Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), or Certified Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (CVRN)
- Proficiency in nurse-guided moderate sedation and IV medication administration
- Experience circulating for EP procedures including ablations, lead extractions, LAAO, and device implantations
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as an EP Lab Nurse
- Hands-on experience with Carto, Ensite X, Affera, and/or Opal mapping systems
