Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Manage and support vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Perform immediate newborn care and support high-risk obstetric patients
• Operate Baxter Pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring equipment; document using Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and interdisciplinary team members across day shift
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP certification required
• BLS and/or ALS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in the OR or Labor & Delivery setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation systems
