Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit across day shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, as evaluated through a safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Document and track hours worked using the designated scheduling and time-tracking platform
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references are not accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience concentrated within a single facility or location within the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Charge RN experience (Charge RN references are accepted)
