Contract | Nights | Three 12-hour night shifts per week, rotating call and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and all levels of acuity
- Deliver care in critical care settings, including Level 2 NICU
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as required by state licensure
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA) in good standing
- NBRC RRT certification required — CRT credentials will not be considered
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) — all four required
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Must have neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU
- Must have excellent critical care and ventilator skills
- Prior travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
- Flu vaccination required (mandatory, no declinations accepted) from October 1 through April 1
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple acuity levels in a hospital setting
- Strong adaptability and communication skills in fast-paced clinical environments
