Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting, delivering high-quality nursing assessments and interventions
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system in accordance with facility protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, with flexibility based on unit needs
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, and TNCC
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be fully eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (Night shift ER applicants must be 50+ miles from the contracted campus only: 100+ miles for full eligibility, 50–99.9 miles considered at a reduced rate, under 50 miles ineligible)
• Pre-assignment testing and required online modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered based on relevant experience
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple units or campuses
