Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU/CVICU)
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for all clinical documentation — no exceptions
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level 1 facility
• EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
• 2 professional references required at time of submission
• Must adhere to facility natural nail policy
• Travelers and permanent staff must have been separated from this facility for at least one year before returning as a travel candidate
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or surgical ICU setting
