Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room / Surgery

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and/or first assist duties across multiple surgical service lines including Ortho, Spine, Neuro, Robotics, Plastics, General, and GYN
- Support a 22-OR facility operating at a 1:1 patient ratio with one team in-house at all times
- Utilize facility-provided EMR system (Meditech) for documentation and case management
- Participate in call coverage — expected 4 to 5 call shifts and 4 to 5 late shifts per 6-week period
- Assist with procedures including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spinal fusions, total joints, craniotomies, mastectomies, and DIEP flaps
- Adhere to facility dress code: facility-provided scrubs, closed-toe non-slip shoes required
Required Qualifications
- Active CST Certification is required — candidates without certification will not be considered
- Neuro and/or Spine experience is required
- Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience across multiple service lines including Ortho, Neuro, General, and Robotics
- Familiarity with advanced surgical equipment including robotic, cardiac, vascular, and oncology platforms
- Flexible, team-oriented, self-directed, and positive professional demeanor
