Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 3 shifts/week with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 49-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform unit procedures including IV placement, foley catheter insertion, external urinary catheters, wound care, post-operative care, trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Engage in patient experience initiatives including AIDET communication, bedside shift report, and hourly rounding
• Collaborate with unit support staff including unit secretaries and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Adhere to facility floating policy as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment including Welch Allyn/Dynamap vital signs machines, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, and wound vacs
• Compliance with dress code: navy blue scrub top, navy or black scrub pants; undershirt and/or scrub jacket (if worn) must be navy, white, or black; no sweatshirts or track jackets

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Background in post-operative or complex medical-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with tracheostomy care and enteral feeding tube management
