Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday | No weekends, no holidays | Expected shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM or 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate or scrub on pediatric surgical cases including general, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, and neurosurgery procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 4-OR pediatric surgical suite within a 50-bed unit
• Operate and assist with specialty equipment including Stryker, microscope, Neptune, and C-arm
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Provide care in alignment with a child and parent care model, supporting both pediatric patients and their families
• Float to the main OR as needed based on census and unit demand

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Demonstrated skill set in general, trauma, pediatric, orthopedic, ENT, and neurosurgery — circulating or scrubbing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior pediatric OR experience strongly preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) background or cross-training considered
• Familiarity with Stryker, Neptune, C-arm, and microscope equipment
• Experience working in a newly opened or high-acuity pediatric surgical environment
