MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of MRI examinations including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and vascular studies (MRA/MRV/MRCP)
• Operate GE and Philips MRI systems to produce diagnostic-quality imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts as required
• Conduct advanced sequences including CINE, diffusion, and perfusion imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe scanning environment
• Float between departments, units, and facilities as needed to meet operational demands; licensure in both Kansas and Missouri (or a compact license) is required at time of submission

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (first-time travelers considered)
• Active, non-pending licensure in Missouri and Kansas (or compact equivalent) required at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient settings
• Familiarity with GE MRI and Philips MRI platforms
• Experience with thoracic MRA, spinal trauma imaging, and temporomandibular joint studies
• Prior travel assignment experience in a high-volume radiology or cardiology department
