MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 2x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of MRI examinations including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and vascular studies (MRA/MRV/MRCP)
- Operate GE and Philips MRI systems to produce diagnostic-quality imaging
- Prepare and administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts as required
- Conduct advanced sequences including CINE, diffusion, and perfusion imaging
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe scanning environment
- Float between departments, units, and facilities as needed to meet operational demands; licensure in both Kansas and Missouri (or a compact license) is required at time of submission
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (first-time travelers considered)
- Active, non-pending licensure in Missouri and Kansas (or compact equivalent) required at time of submission
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient settings
- Familiarity with GE MRI and Philips MRI platforms
- Experience with thoracic MRA, spinal trauma imaging, and temporomandibular joint studies
- Prior travel assignment experience in a high-volume radiology or cardiology department
