Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU environment with patient ratios of 1:2–4
• Participate in a self-scheduling model, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements as established by the facility
• Float between units as needed based on patient census and staffing needs
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete all required facility modules prior to and during orientation on a non-billable basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
• Must submit all requested time off and scheduling preferences at the time of submission — post-submission requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III NICU experience strongly preferred, as the unit operates as a Level IV
• Experience with self-scheduling and block schedule environments
• Familiarity with floating between sister or affiliated units
