Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU environment with expected patient ratios of 1:2–4
- Participate in a self-scheduling model, including expected weekend shifts (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period)
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Float between units or sister facilities as operationally needed
- Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
- Block scheduling commitment required
- Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling preferences upfront at the time of submission — post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level III NICU experience strongly preferred, as this is a Level IV unit
- Experience in a children's hospital or high-acuity pediatric setting
- Candidates open to contracts longer than 13 weeks are encouraged to apply
