Contract | 10-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM–9:30 PM or 12:00 PM–10:30 PM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to ambulatory surgical and procedural patients in a peri-anesthesia setting
• Manage patient recovery across a 25-bed unit with a daily caseload of approximately 35 patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Contribute to a supportive team culture, including when working alongside students and new hires

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
• Minimum 3–4 years of clinical experience in a PACU setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must have been separated from the hiring health system for 6 or more months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ambulatory surgery or peri-anesthesia care environments
• Comfort working in high-volume settings with diverse daily caseloads
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required
