Travel RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Experience in an IMCU, PCU, Stepdown, or comparable acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a stepdown or progressive care environment
- Experience working within large, accredited acute-care hospital systems
