EP Technologist (Cath Lab / EP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and rotating Wednesday or Friday off | Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EP diagnostic procedures, ablations, and all cardiac device-related cases
• Competently operate Cardo Micropace equipment
• Document and chart patient information using Cerner
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EP Tech experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in EP diagnostics, ablations, all cardiac devices, and Cardo Micropace
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)
• Active Illinois license must be in hand at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome — no radius restriction

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Magnet-designated facility
