Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate-level acuity
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with PCU, IMC, or step-down unit experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or step-down environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an intermediate care setting
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
