Contract | Days | 4x10 Hours (6:30–17:00); 5x8 schedule (6:30–15:00) may be accommodated upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a cardiothoracic surgical environment serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Circulate in up to 3 cardiothoracic OR rooms
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one first call and one second call shift per week (beginning at end of shift through 06:30), and one weekend call (Friday end of shift through Monday 06:30) within a six-week rotation cycle
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Float within service line as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; Missouri license or compact license accepted (compact must match permanent residence); Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of Circulating experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required
• ACLS required (must be obtained by compliance deadline)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC charting system
• First-time travelers with experience exceeding the minimum requirements will be considered
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment
