Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital operating room setting
• Support trauma, neurological, vascular, and orthopedic surgical procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include up to 6–8 call shifts per 6-week period, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) as required

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care OR environment
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles across multiple surgical specialties
• Flexibility to accommodate variable scheduling and block schedule requests per manager discretion
