Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM | 39 Hours per Week | Closed Major Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oral prophylaxis by removing hard and soft deposits and stains from tooth surfaces and polishing all surfaces of teeth
• Apply topical fluoride treatments and expose and develop dental radiographs
• Provide oral hygiene instruction, nutritional and dietary counseling, and patient education
• Review medical and dental health histories, take and record blood pressure, and chart dental disease
• Make and confirm patient appointments and perform charge entry using Epic Wisdom EMR
• Participate in the training and supervision of dental hygiene students as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain compliance with professional standards
• Willingness to access medication storage areas and carry out procedures involving the use of medications as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 year of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred
• Experience with Epic Wisdom or comparable dental EMR system
