Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist

Location

Mission Viejo, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 shifts | Start times vary between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM | On-site

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
  • Operate PET and nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including Siemens systems
  • Document and chart patient imaging data accurately using Epic EMR
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including post-shift and weekend call as needed
  • Float between facilities within the state as required to meet unit needs

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
  • Active California state license required and must be in hand prior to start
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience required
  • Must be open to on-call assignments including rotating weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • PET imaging experience strongly preferred (minimum 6 months preferred)
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted with 2 or more years of experience
