Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery and OB Emergency Department setting on a 32-bed unit
- Maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio in collaboration with charge and co-charge nursing staff
- Perform and assist with procedures including SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Utilize electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) equipment including Novii, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Operate within the Meditech EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
- Assist with C-section circulation and demonstrate SVE competency as required by unit standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency
- SVE (Sterile Vaginal Exam) competency
- C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor & Delivery unit
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification and intermediate fetal monitoring certification
