Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00–15:30 | On-Call Required (approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform procedures in a pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory setting, including pediatric and adult transplant right/left heart catheterization, biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement procedures
- Assist with electrophysiology (EP) cases as needed within the cath lab environment
- Support interventional radiology (IR) cases, preferably in a pediatric context
- Participate in on-call rotation including weekend coverage as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting, with preference for EPIC proficiency
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as required by facility policy, including during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- CCI certification with RCIS or RCES, OR ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) credential required
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
- Active state licensure required prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab strongly preferred
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system preferred
