Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology Technologist

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00–15:30 | On-Call Required (approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in a pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory setting, including pediatric and adult transplant right/left heart catheterization, biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement procedures
• Assist with electrophysiology (EP) cases as needed within the cath lab environment
• Support interventional radiology (IR) cases, preferably in a pediatric context
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekend coverage as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting, with preference for EPIC proficiency
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required by facility policy, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• CCI certification with RCIS or RCES, OR ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) credential required
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
• Active state licensure required prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab strongly preferred
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system preferred
