Key Responsibilities

• Independently assist with ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Perform perfusion services in fast-paced, emergent cardiac cases across CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1 settings
• Operate Spectrum pumps as well as additional specialized equipment including Terumo System 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, and CardioQuip HC
• Conduct ECMO transport as required
• Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Perfusion experience
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP)
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
• Demonstrated experience in ECMO transport
• Spectrum pump experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered at this time
• Experience across multiple work settings including CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1
• Familiarity with a broad range of perfusion equipment including Terumo System 1, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, CardioHelp, and Angiovac
