Registered Nurse – Outpatient Neurology Clinic

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | No Weekends | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage infusion orders on a weekly basis within an outpatient neurology clinic setting
• Handle medication refill requests and prior authorizations in high volumes each week
• Respond to patient calls and provide advice through patient messaging platforms
• Support and assist with scheduled outpatient office visits
• Administer and interpret the MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) screening tool for detecting mild cognitive impairment
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand; pending licensure not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience
• Comfort and ability to work in an outpatient clinic environment (this is not an inpatient or bedside role)
• Ability to provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system highly preferred
• Prior experience in neurology and/or infusion nursing strongly preferred
