Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in an acute care operating room setting at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekday on-call from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM and weekend on-call shifts (day and night), averaging 4–6 calls per 6-week period
• Accurately document patient care activities using Mediteach electronic charting system
• Float between like units within the facility and, as needed, between facilities within the state
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• LA Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined by the facility
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Mediteach or similar electronic health record charting systems
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities
