Cath Lab Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 9-hour shifts with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call on a rotational basis (approximately 8–9 shifts per month)

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Support a high-volume department averaging 10–15 cases per day across 6 suites/labs
  • Operate and utilize EMR and cardiology imaging systems including EPIC, PACS, and McKesson
  • Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time from time of page
  • Adhere to department protocols under the direction of a primary charge nurse during day shift hours

Required Qualifications

  • Active Illinois technologist license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • IEMA certification required
  • Previous Cath Lab experience required
  • Must be able to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Experience with McKesson Cardiology PACS preferred
