Contract | Days and Nights Available (3x12-Hour Rotating Shifts) | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend and holidays as needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 21-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for hemodynamically stable adult and geriatric patients with traumatic and orthopedic injuries, general surgery, plastic surgery, and elective spine surgery needs
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to meet unit and facility needs as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as designated by facility protocol, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina, or proof of pending application with ability to complete the SC walk-through licensure process
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a medical-surgical, orthopedic, or post-surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with care of trauma, orthopedic, and surgical patient populations
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
