Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:30–18:00); some early shifts (6:30–17:00); one designated late shift per week to complete the last patient of the day | Call: 1 night per week | Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every other month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulator roles for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, stent placements, and rotablator atherectomy
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation; manage IV vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, thrombolytics, and reversal agents
• Monitor hemodynamic status including pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, end-tidal CO2, and activated clotting time (ACT)
• Perform sheath removal and post-procedural monitoring; apply topical hemostasis agents as indicated
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; perform cardioversion as needed
• Maintain documentation using Pyxis, MAC LAB, CUPID, and EPIC; communicate using SBAR methodology

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring, infection prevention, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Ability to float as needed within or near the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural heart procedures including TAVR, Watchman, ASD closures, and valvuloplasty
• Background in vascular procedures such as carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, stent graft placement, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Familiarity with vascular closure systems (e.g., Perclose, StarClose) and external compression devices
• Experience with pre/post procedure care, central venous access, and radiation and laser safety protocols
